Marlee was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia but left the Maritimes in 2009 to be closer to her grandparents living in Prince George. Since then, she’s enjoyed what Prince George has to offer and has become entrenched as a local with a passion for the outdoors.  

After graduating from Prince George Secondary School, she continued her studies at the University of Northern British Columbia. She is enrolled in the BA program for Anthropology and Geography, and is currently enjoying her last year of studies. 

She began working at 49 North during the spring of 2021 and has made many lasting connections during her time so far. When not at the office, you can find her in a local coffee shop or in a park with her senior dog Lily.
